This policy explains how Event Pack INC (“Eventpack”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, on www.eventpack.com, and how you can control them. It works together with our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

How we ask depends on where you visit from. If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar or Switzerland, we only use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary, unless you agree to more: on your first visit we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies, and accepting and rejecting are equally easy. If you visit from anywhere else, analytics and marketing cookies are on by default. Wherever you are, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing stays off unless you switch it on yourself. If we asked you, we ask again when this policy changes in a way that affects your choices, and at the latest after 180 days.

To show you the right choices, our content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront) works out which country you are visiting from, using your IP address, when you open a page and haven’t made a choice yet. We use the country only for this and don’t store it. If it can’t be determined, we ask you.

What the categories mean

Necessary: needed for the site and the chat assistant to work, such as remembering your cookie choices and your chat conversation. Always on.
Analytics: helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland only with your permission; elsewhere on unless you switch it off.
Marketing: helps us measure campaigns and make our follow-ups more relevant. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland only with your permission; elsewhere on unless you switch it off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

We use Google Analytics (with Google signals), Microsoft Clarity and Clearbit, run for us by Cloudflare Zaraz. Google Analytics counts visits and the pages viewed, Clarity shows how pages are used through heatmaps and session recordings, and Clearbit tells us which companies visit. Microsoft also sets its own cookies on its Clarity domains. They only run while both analytics and marketing are allowed: in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland after you agree, and elsewhere unless you switch either off. If we add another tool, we will add it to this list first. Our fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page does not contact a font service.

Website chat assistant

The chat on our website is an AI assistant. It answers questions about Eventpack using our published product information, and our team can follow up when you ask.

What we store: the messages you send and the assistant’s replies, the pages you view while you chat, the time, and technical data such as your IP address and browser. We store your name, email address and company only if you choose to share them, which is always optional.
Why: to answer your questions, to follow up when you ask us to, to improve the assistant and our service, and to prevent abuse.
In your browser: your conversation is kept in your browser while you browse our site. It is deleted from your browser after 24 hours without activity, or when you start a new chat.
Service providers: the chat runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Anthropic processes your messages to generate the assistant’s replies.
How long we keep it: up to 12 months.
Your rights: to ask for a copy of a conversation or for it to be deleted, email privacy@eventpack.com.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when we change how we use cookies. If a change affects your choices, we will ask visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland again.
