Sessions & Agenda
Set up every session once, with capacity, price and eligibility rules that carry into registration, the attendee agenda and the session door.
- 01Capacity, price and overlap
- 02Eligibility by ticket or answer
- 03Rules at the session door
- 04Personal agenda for attendees
Set the rules once. Every surface follows.
Program rules kept in a spreadsheet do not stop double-bookings, oversold workshops or people walking into sessions their ticket does not cover. Your team ends up policing the door by hand.
Each session holds its own capacity, price, who may book it and what happens at the door. Registration, the attendee agenda and session check-in all follow those rules, so there is no second list to reconcile.
What you can do with Sessions & Agenda
Capacity, price and overlap
Give each session its own time, room, capacity and price, with its own tax if needed, and stop attendees booking two sessions that run at once unless you allow it.
Eligibility by ticket or answer
Open a session to every ticket, to chosen ticket types or to people who gave a particular registration answer, and cap how many sessions each ticket can include.
Rules at the session door
Decide what happens when someone who has not booked scans at a session: turn them away, register them on the spot, or let staff add them, with room capacity enforced.
Personal agenda for attendees
Attendees see the session list and their own agenda in the attendee portal and, with the Event App add-on, the Event App, following the visibility and ticket rules you set.
Where each session appears
On the registration page, the agenda and Event App, and the kiosk, choose whether each session is visible, view-only or hidden, and put keynotes straight into eligible attendees' schedules.
Tracks, tags and locations
Group the program by tracks, tags and locations such as stage, room or booth, add your own session questions, and attach documents to any session.
In practice
An association conference sells a pre-conference workshop at its own price and capacity, open only to full-delegate tickets. Delegates book it on the registration page, it appears in their agenda, and the door scan turns away anyone who did not book it.
Availability and limits
Sessions are switched on per event; ask us which plan includes session management.
Showing the agenda in the Event App needs the Event App add-on; without it, the attendee portal still shows all sessions and each attendee's own.
Charging for sessions by card or by invoice needs the payment add-on (Enterprise in the default catalog); pay later can be allowed per session when invoicing is on and the event allows it.

Sessions & Agenda questions
Yes. A registration page can offer session signup on the same page, listed together or grouped by date, following each session's ticket rules. After registering, attendees can review or edit their picks on an optional follow-up schedule page, and a kiosk can offer session pickup onsite. Their agenda then shows in the attendee portal and, with the Event App add-on, in the Event App.
Yes. Each session can have its own price and tax and is paid in the same order as the ticket. Card checkout and invoices need the payment add-on, and pay later can be offered per session when invoicing is on and the event allows it. With the promo add-on, codes can discount sessions as well as tickets; both add-ons are Enterprise in the default catalog.
Capacity is enforced at signup and at session check-in, so a full session stops taking bookings and the door scan holds the room to its limit. When demand runs high, raise the capacity or open a repeat session for the overflow.
Yes. Sessions have their own import and export, and the registration-platform imports bring sessions in alongside registrations. Sessions come into Eventpack with each import, and fields from some platforms can be locked so nobody edits them by mistake. Platform imports come with the Enterprise plan in the default catalog or are granted separately.
