Speakers
Give every speaker a place in the program: a profile linked to their sessions, a spot to upload materials, and answers to the questions they always ask.

Every speaker tied to the right session
Speaker details live in email threads, slides arrive in the wrong inbox the night before, and nobody is sure which version belongs to which session. The same questions about arrival, AV and timing get answered one speaker at a time.
Each speaker's profile, sessions and files stay linked together. Their uploads land on the right session, their own portal view shows what they are presenting, and your Speaker FAQ answers the routine questions once.
What you can do with Speakers
Speaker profiles from registrations
Mark any registration as a speaker and link it to one or more sessions. Name, company, job title and bio come from the registration, so there is no second record to maintain.
Materials uploaded by speakers
Speakers upload slides and handouts straight onto their sessions from the portal, so your AV team finds the right deck on the right session instead of in an inbox.
A Speaking sessions view
Each speaker signs in to the attendee portal with an email code and sees a Speaking sessions view with their sessions and documents, instead of the general session list.
Speaker FAQ you write
Write the answers to arrival times, AV setup, slide formats and anything else speakers ask, and show them in the portal as a Speaker FAQ.
Speakers in the Event App
With the Event App add-on, attendees browse a Speakers page with a detail page for each speaker, alongside the sessions they are linked to.
In practice
A university research symposium marks its presenters as speakers and links each one to their slot. Presenters upload their decks the week before, the AV team pulls them from the session record, and the Speaker FAQ covers parking, room setup and timing so the events team's inbox stays quiet.
Availability and limits
Speakers need the session add-on (ask us which plan includes it) and sessions switched on for the event.
Speaker pages in the Event App need the Event App add-on; the portal's Speaking sessions view does not.

Your speaker questions answered
Add them the way you add any attendee: register them, import them or let them sign up. Then mark them as a speaker and link them to their sessions. Their profile details carry over, and they sign in to the portal with an email code.
Once a speaker is confirmed. As soon as you link them to their sessions, they can upload materials and read your Speaker FAQ in the portal. If you also collect proposals or abstracts, tell us how you run it today and we will confirm what fits.
On the session they were uploaded to. Your team finds them on the session record, and the speaker sees them in their Speaking sessions view. If you would rather collect files yourself, you can switch speaker uploads off.
Yes. A survey can target speakers as respondents, so you can ask about their experience or collect post-session details. The answers stay with the event record in Eventpack.
