Networking & Social Feed
Let attendees find each other and talk 1:1 within the privacy and ticket rules you set, and share in an event feed and earn points in the Event App.

Networking that respects what people agreed to share
Attendees want to know who else is in the room, but a printed delegate list or a separate community tool shares details people never agreed to show and lives outside the event record.
Attendees who opt in appear with only the fields you made visible and chat 1:1 in the portal or the Event App, where you turn chat on. Points for session check-in and other actions nudge people toward your program.
What you can do with Networking & Social Feed
Opt-in attendee directory
Attendees choose whether to appear. The directory shows only the standard fields and registration answers you marked visible, and people search on the fields you marked searchable.
1:1 chat from a profile
An attendee opens someone's profile in the directory and messages them directly, in the portal or the Event App, so introductions can start before the event.
Rules by ticket type
Open the directory and chat to everyone or only to selected ticket types, so each audience sees the networking you intend for it.
Social feed
In the Event App, give attendees one event feed where they post, comment and react, so the hallway conversation has a home instead of scattering across other channels.
Points and a leaderboard
Switch on gamification and award points for session check-in, a captured lead or custom actions like uploading a profile photo. Attendees see where they stand on the leaderboard and Challenges page in the Event App.
In practice
An association congress opens the directory to delegate and speaker tickets only, keeps phone numbers hidden from it, and awards points for session check-in, so the leaderboard rewards the people who turn up to the program.
Availability and limits
Networking is an opt-in directory and 1:1 chat. Eventpack does not match attendees or suggest who to meet; booked 1:1 meetings need the Meeting Hub add-on.
The social feed, leaderboard and Challenges page are Event App pages, so they need the Event App add-on and the Event App switch; points also need gamification switched on for the event.
Gamification is points and a leaderboard, not a quest or mission engine. The social feed has posts, comments and reactions, and your organization's members can moderate it.

Networking & Social Feed questions
In an opt-in directory with 1:1 chat: attendees decide who to look for and who to message. For bookable 1:1 meetings with rules, see Meetings with the Meeting Hub add-on.
Yes. Every standard profile field and custom registration answer has its own visibility and searchability setting for the networking directory. Attendees also opt in before they appear at all, and you can limit the directory to selected ticket types.
Set house rules in your attendee FAQ, and if every post must be reviewed before it appears, leave the social feed page out of your app. Tell us how you plan to use the feed and we will confirm what fits.
Session check-in, a captured lead and custom actions such as uploading a profile photo. Points appear on a leaderboard and a Challenges page in the Event App, which needs the Event App add-on. Gamification is a switch on each event.
Decide who can find whom at your event
Tell us which ticket types should see each other and what should stay private, and we will show how the directory and chat follow those rules.
