Let one person book for the whole team
When a company sends six people, the assistant registers them one by one, pays six times or asks for one invoice by email, and someone at the organizer's end stitches six records into one account.
One buyer books several tickets in a single order, so your team reconciles one order instead of a signup per colleague. With the payment add-on, the order can be paid by card or, where you allow it, by invoice.
What you can do with Group Registration
Group signup on the page
Turn on group registration for a registration page, so one buyer puts several tickets in a single order instead of registering each colleague separately.
Minimum and maximum per order
Each ticket type carries a minimum and maximum per order, so a table of eight is sold as eight and a sponsor allocation cannot be over-booked by a single buyer.
One order for the group
The order records buyer, subtotal, tax, discount, promo code and invoice, so your team sees what was bought for the group in one place.
Card or invoice payment
With the payment add-on, buyers pay the order by card, or request to pay later where you allow it per ticket. Your team approves or declines each request from the pay-later queue.
Invite a group
Send registration-page invitations to the people who should register their teams, tied to the right tickets, and track who has responded or declined from the invitation list.
In practice
A regional law firm sends five lawyers to a legal-tech conference. The office manager registers all five in one order from the firm's invitation and requests an invoice, which the organizer approves from the pay-later queue.
Availability and limits
Group registration is a setting on a registration page (ask us which plan includes it).
Card checkout (Stripe or Authorize.Net) and pay later both need the payment add-on (Enterprise in the default catalog); pay later also needs invoicing on for the event and tickets that allow offline payment.

Group Registration questions
Where the payment add-on is on and the tickets in the order allow pay later, the buyer can request offline payment and sees your payment instructions. Your team approves or declines from the pay-later queue, and we will confirm in the demo how mixed orders behave.
Yes, through the ticket type: set a minimum per order, for example four on a team ticket. Keep a separate single ticket so individuals can still register on their own.
Your team, from the guest list: the buyer completes the order, and you can edit any registration in the group.
