Orders & Refunds
Keep what each buyer bought, paid and got back in one order record that finance can check without chasing the event team.
- 01One order per purchase
- 02Full financial breakdown
- 03Every payment source recorded
- 04Refunds on the record
One order record your finance team can defend
Ticket sales in one tool, session fees in another and refunds in an inbox leave finance reconciling three sources after the event. Questions about tax, discounts or refunds take days to answer.
Each order holds its tickets, paid sessions and extra items under its own number. Tax, discount, promo code, invoice and any refund stay on that order, so finance answers questions from one record.
What you can do with Orders & Refunds
One order per purchase
Tickets, sessions and extra items are grouped in one order under one order number, so there is one record to find rather than three.
Full financial breakdown
Each order shows buyer, currency, subtotal, tax, discount, total, refunded amount, the promo code used and the invoice, in the fields finance expects to see.
Every payment source recorded
Orders record the payment source (online, card, cash, check, bank transfer, PayPal, Square, complimentary, free or other), so offline and online sales sit in the same list. Card checkout runs through Stripe or Authorize.Net.
Refunds on the record
Issue refunds against the order and keep the refunded amount on it, so the original purchase, the refund and the remaining total stay together.
Orders in reports and exports
Build and schedule an orders report with your own columns and filters, follow revenue on the event dashboard, or send new and updated orders to other tools through a no-code automation (ask us which plan includes it).
In practice
An association member buys a conference ticket and two paid workshops in one checkout. When she cancels, the refund is issued against that order, and the month-end orders report shows the refunded amount next to the original total.
Availability and limits
Online card checkout inside an order needs the payment add-on (Enterprise in the default catalog).
When tax is switched on for the event, partial refunds and some complimentary refunds are restricted.
Orders reports need bulk export (every plan), and you can ask us which plan includes no-code automations.

Orders & Refunds questions
An order can hold the ticket, any paid sessions and any extra items or packages sold through attendee upgrades. Each line counts toward the same subtotal, tax, discount and total, and the order keeps the promo code that was applied.
Orders record the payment source, whether cash, check, bank transfer, PayPal, Square, complimentary, free or other, so those orders sit in the same list and the same reports as card orders. Pay-later requests go through the invoice queue, where you approve or decline each one with a note.
Yes, while tax is off for the event: refunds are issued against the order and the refunded amount stays on it. With tax switched on, partial refunds and some complimentary refunds are restricted, so settle your refund policy before you turn tax on.
Into the Report Builder, where an orders report with your chosen columns and filters runs now or on a schedule as CSV. New and updated orders can also go to other tools through a no-code automation (ask us which plan includes it), and the Eventpack API, a separate add-on, exposes orders to your own systems.
