Sell the right extras after people register
Once someone has registered, selling them a dinner, a workshop or a higher ticket means a second checkout link, a manual update to their record and a payment that never matches the original order.
Registered attendees see an Upgrade ticket option in their attendee portal, and the extras they are eligible for in the portal or Event App. Each purchase is recorded in an order, with stock, limits and tax controlled by you.
What you can do with Attendee Upgrades & Add-ons
Ticket upgrades after registration
Turn on Upgrade ticket in the attendee portal so someone on a standard pass can move to a higher ticket themselves, on their existing registration.
Items with stock and rules
Sell dinners, merchandise or digital extras with their own price, stock, per-order limit, sale window and tax, and mark items that have to be redeemed, such as a meal voucher.
Offer by ticket or answer
Show an item only to selected ticket types, or only to attendees who gave a particular registration answer, so a members-only dinner is never offered to public ticket holders.
Packages at one price
Bundle ticket upgrades, sessions and items into a package with its own price and stock, such as a workshop day plus lunch sold as a single line.
In practice
A conference opens a gala dinner and a printed proceedings volume to attendees after registration. Full-pass holders see both in their portal, day-pass holders see only the dinner, and the dinner stops selling when its stock runs out.
Availability and limits
Attendees buy from the attendee portal, or from the Event App where the Event App add-on is on for the event.
Card payment for paid upgrades and items needs the payment add-on (Enterprise in the default catalog).
Ask us how items and packages are set up for your account before you plan a large range of extras.

Attendee Upgrades & Add-ons questions
Yes, when you show Upgrade ticket in the attendee portal menu. The attendee then moves to a higher ticket on their existing registration, and you decide who sees the option.
Yes. A package has its own price and stock and is made of ticket upgrades, sessions and items in any combination. Attendees buy the package as one line, and it is recorded in their order like anything else.
Yes. Each item and package has its own stock, and each item has a maximum per order and a sale window. When stock runs out or the window closes, the item stops selling.
Each item can be limited to selected ticket types or to attendees who gave a particular registration answer, and it has a sale window. Outside those rules the item does not appear, so sponsors, members and day-pass holders each see their own offers.
